    Position: Senior ETL – Software Developer

    Duration: 1 Year assignment (contract)
    Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
    Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

    This position is provisionally Onsite, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.

    About the Engagement

    Akkodis is seeking a Senior ETL – Software Developer to provide advanced data integration, ETL solution development, and Azure-based pipeline engineering within a highly complex enterprise environment. The consultant will design, develop, test, document, and optimize ETL and data‑pipeline solutions across Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Informatica, SQL Server, and Oracle platforms—supporting large‑scale transformation and modernization initiatives.

    Scope

    • Participate in reviewing project artefacts (Use Cases, SRS, technical documents).

    • Create detailed system design documents aligned with Public Sector environments.

    • Design logical and physical data models using Sybase PowerDesigner.

    • Build complex ETL pipelines using ADF, Informatica, and stored procedures.

    Assignment Deliverables

    • Detailed system design documents and transformation mapping documentation.

    • ETL/ELT pipelines developed using Azure Data Factory and Informatica.

    • Logic Apps, Function Apps, and automated CI/CD pipelines for ADF.

    • Complex PL/SQL and SQL Server stored procedures.

    Expertise Required

    Must Have:

    • Extensive experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Informatica PowerCenter.

    • Strong proficiency in SQL Server stored procedures and Oracle PL/SQL programming.

    • Hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines (build, release, Git Branching).

    • Experience designing and implementing complex ETL transformations and data pipelines.

    • Strong knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server databases, Azure SQL, and Synapse.

    Nice to Have:

    • Experience enhancing existing ETL ecosystems and improving legacy pipelines.

    • Exposure to advanced Azure services and cloud security best practices.
