Your Role
Position: Senior IT Enterprise Architect / Strategist
Duration: 9 Months assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

This position is provisionally Onsite, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.
About the Engagement
Akkodis is seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Enterprise Architect / Strategist to provide strategic leadership in enterprise architecture, application portfolio management, technology modernization, and IT public sector initiatives.
The successful consultant will lead the development and implementation of enterprise architecture strategies, capability-based planning models, application portfolio rationalization, and technology roadmaps that align business objectives with enterprise technology investments. This role requires deep expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks, application and technology architecture, artificial intelligence (AI), strategic planning, and organizational transformation within complex enterprise environments.
Scope
Define and document business capabilities, technology capabilities, and enterprise transformation roadmaps.
Lead capability-based architecture initiatives to align business and technology strategies.
Assess enterprise application portfolios and identify opportunities for modernization, optimization, consolidation, and cost reduction.
Support application lifecycle management and enterprise platform strategies.
Assignment Deliverables
Enterprise Architecture strategy and roadmap.
Capability maps and business capability models.
Enterprise Architecture blueprints and reference architectures.
Application portfolio assessments and rationalization recommendations.
Technology modernization and transformation plans.
Expertise Required
Must Have:
Experience in capability based archiechture
Prior public sector experience
Knowledge and experience in Application architecture, Technology Architecture, Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Experience developing and implementing Enterprise Architecture strategies and frameworks.
Experience with Application Portfolio Management and IT public sector.
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture methodologies and best practices.
Experience with strategic planning, business transformation, and technology modernization initiatives.
Nice to Have:
Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
Knowledge of cloud architecture and enterprise modernization strategies.
Security Clearance
