Position: Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist
Duration: 9 Months assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

This position is provisionally Onsite, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.
About the Engagement
Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist to support quality assurance, testing, and validation activities for large-scale enterprise applications and Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) solutions within a public sector environment.
The successful consultant will be responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and executing comprehensive testing activities across multiple phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Working closely with project managers, business analysts, developers, architects, and stakeholders, the consultant will help ensure system quality, reliability, accessibility, performance, and compliance through rigorous testing methodologies, defect management practices, and test automation initiatives.
Scope
Execute functional, integration, system, regression, user acceptance, accessibility, and performance testing.
Validate application functionality, business processes, data integrity, and system integrations.
Identify, document, track, and support the resolution of software defects using enterprise defect management tools.
Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues and validate defect resolutions.
Assignment Deliverables
Automated test scripts and related automation documentation.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support documentation and coordination.
Test data preparation and validation artifacts.
Quality assurance metrics, release readiness assessments, and project testing reports.
Knowledge transfer documentation and testing best-practice recommendations.
Expertise Required
Must Have:
8+ years of experience working as a Software QA Tester
5+ years of experience testing a Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) Application
Experience testing Oracle Siebel CRM application is a strong asset
Experience working on Siebel Test Automation is an asset
Experience testing Adobe AEM is an asset
Experience with defect tracking tool like Jira / Azure DevOps.
Nice to Have:
Public sector testing experience.
Experience testing highly integrated enterprise systems.
Security Clearance
Required.
