Senior Mainframe RACF Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Mainframe RACF Specialist for a critical position within the Mainframe team supporting ABN AMRO.

You will replace a senior expert who is retiring, making this a key role in ensuring security, compliance, and continuity within a highly regulated banking environment.

This is a client-facing position, working closely with both local and international teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary focal point for RACF Security for both client and internal teams
• Maintain and optimize existing RACF implementations
• Support security compliance, audits, and governance
• Analyze audit findings and propose improvements
• Collaborate with international operational teams (including Hungary)
• Design and implement new RACF/security solutions

Core expertise:

• RACF (Security Server)
• zSecure (including CARLa coding)
• Certificate Management
• RRSF & MFA
• Encryption (TLS / AT-TLS)
• z Security & Compliance Center

z/OS ecosystem knowledge:

• JES2, TSO/ISPF, SDSF
• REXX, JCL
• Unix System Services
• Networking (TCP/IP, file transfer)
• Job Scheduling (IWS)
• Automation (SA/390)

Nice to have:

• Experience with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) in RACF
• Background in financial services / regulated environments
