Software Product Owner

We are looking for a Software Product Owner Infra to join our Akkodis team in Hengelo, the Netherlands.

About the team

The Thales Netherlands IS/IT team works at the core of the Thales digital transformation. It is positioned between our IS/IT and business departments. With a team of 150+ colleagues we provide IS/IT support to our 3500 Dutch colleagues in several Business Lines and functions. We also work closely together with the international IS/IT departments of the Thales Group. About the future job

As the Product Owner for the Network & Hosting squad you are part of the INFRA domain and your team provides the foundation for the platform- and application teams, as well as providing the network solutions and hardware instantiation. You work together to maintain, improve and deliver functionalities and solutions for several projects. 

Your contribution to the team:

• Work closely together with stakeholders and understand their use cases and functional requirements. 
• Provide clarity for all stakeholders involved so that the scarce resources can be allocated effectively. 
• Create a clear roadmap that is sustainable and aligned with the business.
• Create and manage a well-defined backlog for the team that has a balance between availability, lifecycle, security, customer project needs and automation/innovation.
• Pursue optimal performance and availability through continuous improvement.
• Work closely together with other IS/IT teams and suppliers to manage dependencies and learn from each other.
• Work closely together with the Team Lead and Product Manager to order the right hard-and software, in time and on budget.
• Create synergy between the projects and plan ahead as much as possible.

Profile

Who are we looking for?

You are an experienced Product or Service Ownever in a large organization (Professional Scrum Product Owner Certification is a plus). In more detail you have:

• Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant discipline.
• General knowledge of IT Infrastructure (Network & Infra).
• The Ability to talk on different levels within the organization and have proven experience with stakeholder management.
• Drive to pursue transparency & predictability.
• Skills to empower the team and drive clarity, commitment & accountability from and towards the team, but also your stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical skills and are able to see the bigger picture.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch & English.
• Dutch Nationality, which is a requirement due to security restrictions.
