214984-1 - Application Support Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Application Support Engineer for a contract position with a client in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Oracle Incentive Compensation Management (ICM), ERP application configuration, and enterprise application support.

Rate Range: $78/hour to $80/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Application Support Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Provide advanced application support for Oracle Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) and related enterprise business systems to ensure optimal performance and business continuity.

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application, configuration, integration, and system issues across multiple business-critical platforms.

• Configure, maintain, and support ERP-related functionalities while ensuring alignment with business requirements and operational objectives.

• Act as a subject matter expert for Oracle ICM, providing guidance, technical expertise, and recommendations for system enhancements and process improvements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business users, and client stakeholders to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurring issues.

• Monitor application performance, conduct impact assessments, and develop solutions that improve system reliability, efficiency, and scalability.

• Participate in application remediation activities, system upgrades, testing efforts, and production deployments to support ongoing business initiatives.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree is preferred.

• Ten or more years of professional experience supporting enterprise applications, business systems, and ERP environments.

• Extensive experience working with Oracle Incentive Compensation Management (ICM), including configuration, administration, support, and troubleshooting activities.

• Strong functional and configuration experience within ERP platforms and enterprise business applications.

• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex application issues while maintaining high levels of system availability and performance.

• Experience performing application remediation, incident management, root cause analysis, and engineering support activities within large-scale environments.

• Strong understanding of system integrations, data flows, and business process support across enterprise platforms.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Experience working in Agile, ITIL, or structured support environments is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting Oracle Sales Cloud Incentive Compensation solutions within enterprise environments.

• Knowledge of application monitoring, performance tuning, and service management best practices.

• Experience managing support activities across multiple integrated business applications.

• Familiarity with enterprise reporting, data validation, and business process optimization initiatives.

• Proven ability to lead technical discussions, influence stakeholders, and contribute to strategic support initiatives.

• Experience documenting processes, support procedures, and operational best practices.

Pay Details: $78.00 to $80.00 per hour
