3D Digital Modeler Designer

Akkodis is seeking a 3D Digital Modeler Designer for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI. The ideal candidate will create and refine interior and exterior digital models, ensuring surface quality, technical accuracy, and alignment with engineering requirements.

Rate Range: $35/Hour to $40/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

3D Digital Modeler Designer Responsibilities include:

• Develop high-fidelity interior and exterior 3D digital models that accurately capture and communicate design intent.

• Create, refine, and validate surface data while ensuring quality, accuracy, and adherence to project requirements.

• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to translate technical data into production-ready digital models.

• Utilize industry-standard modeling tools such as Alias, Rhino, Blender, and related software to deliver designs to specification.

• Interpret technical documentation, engineering drawings, and surface development requirements to support design feasibility.

• Manage project timelines effectively, troubleshoot modeling challenges, and adapt to evolving design and engineering requirements.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Transportation Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.

• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in 3D digital modeling within an automotive, transportation, or product design environment.

• Proficiency with industry-standard modeling software such as Alias, Rhino, Blender, Gravity Sketch, or similar 3D modeling tools.

• Strong understanding of surface development, technical drawings, engineering data, and design-to-production processes.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
