Aerospace Engineer I

Akkodis is seeking an Aerospace Engineer I for a Contract with a client in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting airport and runway performance evaluations, updating aircraft performance data, and providing operational support to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient fleet operations.

Rate Range: $34.50/Hour to $36.50/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Aerospace Engineer I Job Responsibilities include:

• Conduct airport, runway, and environmental performance evaluations to develop and maintain accurate aircraft takeoff, landing, and en-route performance data.

• Analyze and update aircraft performance information to support operational integrity, payload optimization, and regulatory compliance.

• Collaborate with Flight Operations, IT, and Commercial teams to provide engineering data, technical guidance, and operational support for fleet deployment.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance engineering policies, procedures, technical documentation, and standard operating processes in alignment with FAA regulations and company standards.

• Manage multiple engineering projects, data updates, reporting requirements, and operational deadlines in a fast-paced airline environment.

• Promote and demonstrate safety-conscious behaviors while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across operational and engineering processes.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline required.

• 0-2 years of engineering experience in aerospace, aviation, aircraft performance, or a related technical field (entry-level candidates welcome).

• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze technical drawings, OEM manuals, engineering data, and regulatory documentation.

• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and meet operational deadlines.

Pay Details: $34.50 to $36.50 per hour
