AI Solutions Developer

Akkodis is seeking an AI Solutions Developer for a Contract job with a client in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ChatGPT, OpenAI technologies, Custom GPTs, Microsoft Copilot, and AI workflow automation, along with strong prompt engineering and business process optimization skills.

Rate Range: $30/hour to $32/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

AI Solutions Developer Job Responsibilities Include:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy AI-powered solutions that improve operational efficiency, automate business processes, and enhance user productivity.

• Build, configure, optimize, and maintain Custom GPTs, Microsoft Copilot Agents, AI skills, prompt-based solutions, and workflow automation tools.

• Partner with business stakeholders across operations, events, commercial services, and corporate functions to identify opportunities for AI-driven innovation and automation.

• Translate business requirements and operational challenges into scalable AI solutions using ChatGPT, OpenAI technologies, Microsoft Copilot, and related platforms.

• Manage and prioritize a portfolio of AI initiatives, supporting multiple concurrent projects while ensuring timely delivery and business value realization.

• Conduct user testing, prompt refinement, validation, and quality assurance activities to ensure AI solutions deliver accurate, reliable, and high-quality outputs.

• Gather user feedback, monitor adoption metrics, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve AI products and workflows after deployment.

• Collaborate with technical teams supporting enterprise AI platforms, APIs, integrations, automation frameworks, and emerging AI technologies.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Hands-on experience building AI solutions utilizing ChatGPT, OpenAI technologies, Custom GPTs, Microsoft Copilot, or similar generative AI platforms.

• Strong prompt engineering skills with the ability to design, test, optimize, and deploy AI-powered business solutions.

• Experience building AI workflows, automations, virtual agents, copilots, and prompt-based applications.

• Ability to evaluate business requirements and recommend the most effective AI solution, platform, or automation approach.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft Copilot Agents and enterprise AI workflows.

• Familiarity with OpenAI APIs, Custom GPT development, AI skills engineering, and AI product lifecycle management.

• Experience supporting AI product operations, user adoption, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Hospitality industry experience supporting hotel operations, events, sales, commercial services, customer experience, or related functions.

• Understanding of machine learning, AI governance, conversational AI, and enterprise AI deployment best practices.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $32.00 per hour
