Analyst

Akkodis is seeking an Analyst for a Contract with a client in Naperville, IL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing end-to-end testing activities to ensure software quality and reliability.

Rate Range: $37/Hour to $43/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Analyst Job Responsibilities include:

• Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data to validate application functionality and performance.

• Perform end-to-end manual testing across multiple applications and systems, ensuring quality standards are met.

• Analyze application requirements, identify defects, and support troubleshooting efforts through detailed system assessment and root cause analysis.

• Write and execute complex SQL queries and stored procedures to validate backend data and ensure data integrity.

• Manage test execution, defect tracking, and reporting using tools such as HP ALM and JIRA.

• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to support testing activities, ensure timely issue resolution, and improve overall software quality.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 6–8 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance, including 5+ years of hands-on manual testing experience.

• Strong experience in test planning, test case development, test execution, defect tracking, and end-to-end testing within Agile environments.

• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures, with hands-on experience using HP ALM, JIRA, and software troubleshooting techniques.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $43.00 per hour
