Analyst

Akkodis is seeking an Analyst for a Contract with a client in Naperville, IL. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end testing activities, ensuring software quality through comprehensive test planning, execution, and defect management.

Rate Range: $37/Hour to $43/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Analyst Job Responsibilities include:

• Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test data to validate application functionality and quality.

• Perform end-to-end manual testing across various software components, ensuring requirements are met and defects are identified early.

• Analyze system behavior, troubleshoot application issues, and support root cause analysis to improve software reliability.

• Write and execute complex SQL queries and stored procedures to validate data integrity and backend functionality.

• Track, document, and manage defects using HP ALM and JIRA while working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

• Collaborate within Agile teams to support sprint testing activities, test execution, quality assurance processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 6–8 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, including 5+ years of hands-on manual testing experience.

• Strong experience in test planning, test case development, test execution, defect management, and end-to-end testing in Agile environments.

• Proficiency in SQL query writing, stored procedures, HP ALM, JIRA, and software application analysis and troubleshooting.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $43.00 per hour
