Akkodis is seeking an Asset Manager for a Contract with a client in Austin, TX. Candidate must have strong data center, Linux, and hardware handling skills to support accurate asset management operations.
Rate Range: $34/hour to $37/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Asset Manager job responsibilities include:
Manages data center asset inventory while ensuring accuracy, updates, and compliance with operational standards.
Coordinates third‑party vendor access with security teams and handles inbound/outbound logistics activities.
Performs server racking, cabling, provisioning, and basic troubleshooting to support lab operations.
Drives inventory cycle audits, data corrections, IAM tasks, and data‑bearing device destruction processes.
Addresses hardware issues through ticket-based workflows while maintaining strong customer service and communication.
Supports operational excellence by overseeing material movement, warranty activities, and procurement-related tasks.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related technical domain.
Strong background supporting data center operations with hands‑on Linux, hardware, and inventory management exposure.
Proven ability to manage asset workflows, logistics coordination, and accurate inventory controls in fast‑paced data center environments.
Demonstrated capability in server racking, cabling, troubleshooting, and handling lab activities aligned with operational standards.

Pay Details: $34.00 to $37.00 per hour
