    Akkodis is seeking an Asset Manager for a Contract with a client in Austin, TX. Candidate must have strong data center, Linux, and hardware handling skills to support accurate asset management operations.

    Rate Range: $34/hour to $37/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

    Asset Manager job responsibilities include:

    • Manages data center asset inventory while ensuring accuracy, updates, and compliance with operational standards.

    • Coordinates third‑party vendor access with security teams and handles inbound/outbound logistics activities.

    • Performs server racking, cabling, provisioning, and basic troubleshooting to support lab operations.

    • Drives inventory cycle audits, data corrections, IAM tasks, and data‑bearing device destruction processes.

    • Addresses hardware issues through ticket-based workflows while maintaining strong customer service and communication.

    • Supports operational excellence by overseeing material movement, warranty activities, and procurement-related tasks.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related technical domain.

    • Strong background supporting data center operations with hands‑on Linux, hardware, and inventory management exposure.

    • Proven ability to manage asset workflows, logistics coordination, and accurate inventory controls in fast‑paced data center environments.

    • Demonstrated capability in server racking, cabling, troubleshooting, and handling lab activities aligned with operational standards.

    Pay Details: $34.00 to $37.00 per hour
