Assistant consultant

Akkodis is seeking an Assistant consultant for a Contract with a client in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate will lead enterprise content management and document processing solutions using OpenText Documentum, xCP, and Java-based applications, ensuring reliable integrations, migrations, and system performance.

Rate Range: $44/Hour to $45/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Assistant consultant Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and OpenText Documentum technologies.

• Lead Documentum xCP development, workflow design, case management, UI customization, and system integrations.

• Manage Documentum administration activities, including upgrades, migrations, repository maintenance, security, and performance monitoring.

• Support large-scale data migration initiatives, ensuring accurate data transformation, validation, reconciliation, and post-migration support.

• Troubleshoot production issues through application, database, and server log analysis, performing root cause analysis and resolution.

• Deploy and support containerized applications using Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and cloud-native DevOps practices.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in OpenText Documentum, Documentum xCP, and enterprise content management solutions.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, OTDS/SSO implementations, and Documentum administration.

• Proven expertise in Documentum data migrations, repository management, workflow development, and enterprise integrations.

Pay Details: $44.00 to $45.00 per hour
