Associate Director of Product Management

Akkodis is seeking an Associate Director of Product Management for a Direct Hire with a client in Lancaster, SC. The candidate has proven ability to lead teams, manage complex product lifecycles, and partner with contract manufacturers to deliver scalable growth.

Salary Range: $150K/hour to $180K/hour; The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Associate Director of Product Management job responsibilities include:

• Lead and develop a team of product managers while driving continuous improvement and cross‑functional collaboration.

• Own product portfolio strategy and P&L performance, ensuring profitable growth and long‑term sustainability.

• Develop and execute multi‑year product roadmaps aligned with market insights, customer needs, and business objectives.

• Manage end‑to‑end product lifecycle and new product development, partnering with R&D, operations, supply chain, marketing, and sales.

• Support and coordinate contract manufacturing partnerships to ensure quality, capacity planning, cost control, and timely product launches.

• Monitor portfolio performance, identify risks, and implement strategic adjustments to optimize operational and commercial outcomes.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

• 7+ years of experience in marketing, sales, or product management, including 3+ years in a product leadership role.

• Proven experience leading cross‑functional product initiatives, including product strategy, lifecycle management, and P&L ownership.

• Hands‑on experience partnering with manufacturing and supply chain teams, including contract manufacturing coordination and operational risk management.
