AWS Java Spring boot Developer

    Akkodis is seeking an AWS Java Spring boot Developer for a Contract with a client in Washington, DC. This role requires leading application architecture, developing RESTful services, and integrating AWS components such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.

    Rate Range: $71/hour to $75/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

    AWS Java Spring boot Developer job responsibilities include:

    • Design, develop, and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring JPA.

    • Build and optimize AWS‑based solutions, including Lambda functions, API integrations, and secure cloud components.

    • Develop and manage applications leveraging AWS services such as S3, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and CloudFormation.

    • Create technical design documents, architecture diagrams, and participate in design reviews to ensure adherence to development standards.

    • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment, providing technical guidance and mentoring as needed.

    • Implement security best practices across applications, including IAM roles, KMS encryption, and other AWS security controls.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

    • 10+ years of hands‑on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and AWS-based application development.

    • Strong expertise in designing and developing microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native architectures.

    • Proven experience integrating and working with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, SQS, and SNS.

    Pay Details: $71.00 to $75.00 per hour
