AWS Tech Lead

Akkodis is seeking an AWS Tech Lead for a Contract with a client in Malvern, PA. You will lead the development and integration of scalable data processing systems, collaborate with business and engineering teams, and drive AWS-based modernization initiatives while ensuring operational excellence.

Rate Range: $60/Hour to $64/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

AWS Tech Lead Responsibilities include:

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of cloud-native data solutions using AWS, Python, PySpark, and ETL frameworks.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

• Develop and maintain AWS-based data pipelines using services such as Glue, Lambda, and Spark for large-scale data processing.

• Review code, provide technical guidance, and ensure adherence to best practices for data engineering and application development.

• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, testing frameworks, and post-production support processes.

• Drive data platform modernization initiatives, API integrations, and proof-of-concept (POC) solutions to address client challenges and improve operational efficiency.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering, AWS Cloud, Python, PySpark, Spark SQL, and ETL development.

• Strong expertise in designing, migrating, and modernizing legacy or on-premises data platforms to cloud-native AWS environments.

• Extensive experience with AWS services including Glue, Lambda, S3, and cloud-based data integration frameworks.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $64.00 per hour
