Azure AI/ML Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Azure AI/ML Engineer for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in finance data and analytics, including SQL, dimensional modeling, and designing reconciliation controls to ensure data accuracy across Oracle finance platforms and enterprise reporting environments.

Rate Range: $55/Hour to $57/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Azure AI/ML Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Define and document finance data ingestion, transformation, and reconciliation requirements across Oracle Finance platforms and enterprise data environments.

• Design and maintain finance data models, master data structures, hierarchies, and governance frameworks to support analytics and reporting.

• Develop and implement data quality, reconciliation, and continuous control monitoring processes to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data.

• Partner with engineering teams to support the delivery of enterprise data pipelines, reporting solutions, and Power BI analytics capabilities.

• Analyze and resolve data discrepancies by determining whether issues are caused by data defects, integration failures, or accounting differences.

• Enable AI-assisted finance analytics, automated variance/flux commentary, approval workflows, and process automation using Microsoft Power Platform and related digital solutions.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.

• 8-10 years of experience in finance data and analytics with strong expertise in SQL, dimensional data modeling, and enterprise reporting solutions.

• Proven experience working with Oracle finance platforms, enterprise data platforms, Power BI, and finance data reconciliation controls to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.

• Demonstrated ability to design data quality, governance, and continuous control monitoring frameworks, while enabling AI-assisted analytics and partnering with engineering teams to support finance reporting and operational processes.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $57.00 per hour
