    Akkodis is seeking a Bilingual Global Incident Response (GIR) Analyst for a Contract with a client in Jersey City, NJ/ Tempe, AZ/Brea, CA. The ideal candidate is responsible for investigating, triaging, and resolving complex cybersecurity incidents across cloud and on‑prem environments while improving detection and response capabilities.

    NOTE: Both English and Japanese language skills as well as cultural fluency are strongly required.

     

    Rate Range: $60/hour to $63/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

    Bilingual Global Incident Response (GIR) Analyst Job Responsibilities include:

    • Investigate, analyze, and respond to global cybersecurity incidents by correlating artifacts across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments to determine root cause and remediation.

    • Monitor, triage, and escalate security alerts from internal logs, automated detections, and external service providers to ensure timely incident response.

    • Lead and support end‑to‑end incident response activities, including compromised system analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery.

    • Develop and enhance incident response playbooks, detections, reports, and automations aligned with industry frameworks and best practices.

    • Partner with compliance, risk, and audit teams to support inquiries, ensure regulatory adherence, and maintain accurate security documentation.

    • Research emerging threats, attack techniques, and vulnerabilities while mentoring junior analysts and driving continuous security improvements.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.

    • 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity Operations or Information Security.

    • Both English and Japanese language skills as well as cultural fluency are strongly required.

    • Demonstrated hands-on expertise in incident response, security monitoring, and threat analysis across multiple operating systems and cloud environments.

    Pay Details: $60.00 to $63.00 per hour
