Business Analyst

Akkodis is seeking a Business Analyst for a Contract with a client in Naperville, IL. The ideal candidate with expertise supporting investment management platforms, trading operations, and front-office workflows by gathering requirements, optimizing processes, and delivering system enhancements.

Rate Range: $37/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Business Analyst Job Responsibilities include:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from Portfolio Managers, Traders, Compliance, Operations, and Technology teams to support investment management initiatives.

• Support and enhance Charles River Investment Management System (CR IMS) modules, including Portfolio Management, Order Management, Trading, Compliance, and Rebalancing.

• Analyze and optimize end-to-end investment lifecycle processes, including portfolio construction, trade execution, allocation, settlement, and reconciliation.

• Configure and maintain pre-trade and post-trade compliance rules, investment guidelines, and regulatory controls within the Charles River platform.

• Manage integrations between Charles River and third-party systems such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Aladdin, State Street Alpha, custodians, and market data providers.

• Lead UAT activities, perform data analysis and reconciliation, support defect resolution, and ensure successful deployment of investment management solutions.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst within Asset Management, Investment Management, or Capital Markets environments.

• Strong hands-on expertise with Charles River Investment Management System (CR IMS/OMS), including Portfolio Management, Order Management, Trading, Compliance, and Rebalancing modules.

• In-depth knowledge of front-office trading workflows, portfolio management, investment operations, and compliance monitoring, with experience supporting system integrations and UAT activities.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $49.00 per hour
