Business Analyst

Akkodis is seeking a Business Analyst for a Contract with a client in Naperville, IL. The ideal candidate with expertise supporting loan origination, underwriting, and lending transformation initiatives by gathering requirements, optimizing workflows, and enhancing lending operations.

Rate Range: $37/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Business Analyst Job Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, underwriting, risk, compliance, and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document lending requirements for business and system enhancements.

• Create and maintain BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, use cases, and gap analysis documentation to support lending initiatives and regulatory requirements.

• Analyze, configure, and support Loan Origination System (LOS) functionalities, including loan applications, credit decisioning, underwriting, and loan booking processes.

• Support end-to-end loan lifecycle activities, including application intake, credit assessment, underwriting, approval, documentation, funding, and servicing transition.

• Manage integrations between LOS platforms and enterprise systems such as Core Banking, CRM, AML/KYC, Credit Bureau, Risk, and Document Management solutions.

• Lead SIT/UAT testing activities, perform data analysis and reconciliation, support defect resolution, and drive lending process optimization, workflow automation, and straight-through processing (STP) initiatives.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Banking, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 6-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst within lending, loan origination, banking, or financial services environments.

• Strong lending domain expertise, including loan origination, underwriting, credit assessment, lending operations, and end-to-end loan lifecycle processes.

• Hands-on experience with Loan Origination Systems (LOS) such as Loan IQ, nCino, Encompass, Temenos, Pega, or similar platforms, including requirements gathering, process modeling, and UAT support.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $45.00 per hour
