Business Analyst

Akkodis is seeking a Business Analyst for a Contract with a client in Kansas City, MO(Hybrid). The candidate must demonstrate strong ISO General Liability expertise, including the ability to interpret ISO manuals and translate them into precise rating and configuration logic.

Rate Range: $41/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Business Analyst job responsibilities include:

• Interprets ISO General Liability circulars and translates updates into clear, actionable system configuration requirements.

• Configures rating system components such as loss costs, classification codes, ILFs, deductibles, and state‑specific deviations to maintain accuracy.

• Validates rating algorithms through detailed unit, regression, and parallel testing to ensure correct premium calculations.

• Aligns policy forms and rule logic so that endorsements trigger correctly based on classification, limits, and state guidelines.

• Conducts premium validation testing, identifies discrepancies, and documents rating logic and workflow structures for audit readiness.

• Collaborates with product, IT, actuarial, compliance, and underwriting teams to clarify ISO rules and resolve rating issues efficiently.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Holds a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Insurance, or a related discipline.

• 5+ years of experience aligned with ISO GL rating, configuration, and testing responsibilities.

• Meets client expectations by demonstrating strong ISO CGL manual knowledge, including classification codes, ILFs, deductibles, and experience rating logic.

• Demonstrates the ability to interpret ISO manuals, translate them into system logic, and collaborate across technical and product teams as required by the client.

Pay Details: $41.00 to $56.00 per hour
