Your Role

The CMM Programmer II develops, modifies, and troubleshoots CMM and gauge inspection programs for complex components. This role works cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to support inspection processes, improve product quality, and maintain best practices.

Rate Range: $40/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and update CMM/gauge programs using CAD models and drawings

  • Validate programs (prove-outs, GR&R, correlation studies) and troubleshoot issues

  • Create operator prompts and reporting templates, including basic SPC analysis

  • Train and mentor junior programmers and support inspection activities

  • Collaborate with engineering on design and manufacturability improvements

  • Manage CMM hardware, stylus systems, and vendor support

  • Support fixturing design and automated inspection solutions

  • Maintain ISO documentation and inspection reports

  • Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; AS/BS in engineering field preferred

  • 5+ years CMM programming experience (Calypso, PC-DMIS, MODUS, etc.)

  • 6+ years mechanical inspection experience

  • GD&T certification (ASME Y14.5) required

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and data analysis skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and quality tools

  • On-site role in a manufacturing environment

  • Overtime or shift flexibility may be required



Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
