    Akkodis is seeking a Custom Application Architect for a Contract with a client in Pittsburgh, PA(Remote). Candidate must have advanced capability in designing high‑performing, secure Java application architectures for complex enterprise systems.

    Rate Range: $59/hour to $61/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

    Custom Application Architect job responsibilities include:

    • Leading architectural discussions to design scalable, secure, and high‑performing Java applications.

    • Mentoring team members to promote continuous learning, technical growth, and effective collaboration.

    • Evaluating emerging technologies and recommending tools that enhance system performance and security.

    • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather business requirements and convert them into clear technical specifications.

    • Reviewing application architectures regularly to ensure compliance with best practices and industry standards.

    • Providing solutions to complex technical challenges across multiple teams to support smooth project execution.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Candidate must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent education.

    • Candidate will have extensive experience in Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and enterprise‑level architecture leadership.

    • Strong proficiency in Java Spring MVC, Microservices (Saga, CQRS), and CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions.

    • Demonstrated ability to lead architectural decisions, mentor teams, and ensure alignment with best practices and technical standards.

    Pay Details: $59.00 to $61.00 per hour
