Data Eng w/ Python and AI, LLM

Akkodis is seeking a Data Eng w/ Python and AI, LLM for a Contract with a client in Austin, TX/Sunnyvale, CA. This role focuses on building and optimizing scalable data pipelines, integrating AI/LLM solutions, and delivering high-quality data architectures.

Rate Range: $56/Hour to $58/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Data Eng w/ Python and AI, LLM Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Python, Snowflake, and DBT.

• Build and optimize dimensional data models, including Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCDs), to support enterprise analytics and reporting.

• Develop and integrate REST APIs and data services using FastAPI and other modern Python frameworks.

• Implement and support AI/GenAI solutions, including Large Language Model (LLM) integrations for business use cases.

• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure high-performance data processing and data quality.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate data workflows, improve data architecture, and deliver scalable data solutions.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 8-10 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and ETL development.

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, Advanced SQL, DBT, and dimensional data modeling (SCDs).

• Expertise in Python programming including Pandas, Polars, PySpark, API integrations, and FastAPI development.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $58.00 per hour
