Data Eng w/ Snowflake and Advance SQL

Akkodis is seeking a Data Eng w/ Snowflake and Advance SQL for a Contract with a client in Austin, TX/Sunnyvale, CA. The ideal candidate will design and build scalable data solutions to support advanced analytics and AI-driven initiatives across the organization.

Rate Range: $56/Hour to $58/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Data Eng w/ Snowflake and Advance SQL Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Snowflake to support business intelligence, analytics, and AI initiatives.

• Build, optimize, and automate ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure reliable and efficient data movement across systems.

• Develop complex SQL queries and implement dimensional data models, including Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD), to support reporting and analytics needs.

• Create and manage data transformation workflows using DBT while ensuring data quality, consistency, and performance.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 8-10 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Analytics Engineering.

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, Advanced SQL, DBT, and dimensional data modeling, including Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD).

• Proven expertise in building and automating ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, Pandas, Polars, and PySpark.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $58.00 per hour
