    Akkodis is seeking a Data Engineer for a Contract with a client in Bellevue, WA. The ideal candidate is responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions on Microsoft Azure.

    Rate Range: $53/hour to $54/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

    Data Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

    • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, PySpark, and related Azure services.

    • Implement and optimize ETL workflows for structured and unstructured data across multiple data sources.

    • Write, manage, and optimize complex SQL Server and PL/SQL stored procedures, tables, and data transformations.

    • Build and maintain analytical models and semantic views in Microsoft Fabric to support enterprise reporting.

    • Develop and support Power BI dashboards, ensuring accurate, timely, and actionable insights for stakeholders.

    • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure data quality, security, compliance, and continuous performance improvement.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.

    • 6–8 years of hands‑on experience in data engineering and enterprise data platform development.

    • Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure data services including Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, PySpark, and Microsoft Fabric.

    • Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end ETL pipelines, analytical models, and Power BI reporting with a focus on data quality, performance, and reliability.

    Pay Details: $53.00 to $54.00 per hour
