    Akkodis is seeking a Database Administrator for a Contract with a client in Las Vegas, NV. Candidates must have strong data center hardware and server administration expertise to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting across diverse server models and network components.

    Rate Range: $47/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

    Database Administrator job responsibilities include:

    • Managing server installation activities by racking, stacking, cabling, and configuring new hardware in the data center.

    • Troubleshooting hardware issues across CPU, DIMM, motherboard, network cards, and switches to ensure minimal downtime.

    • Supporting network operations by diagnosing connectivity problems, handling DHCP‑related issues, and onboarding new hosts.

    • Performing firmware, BIOS, and network card upgrades across Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Cisco server models.

    • Collaborating closely with network and systems teams to resolve issues, document configurations, and maintain accurate asset records.

    • Providing remote support for iDRAC configuration, ESXi installation, and responding to service tickets with timely updates.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, electronics.

    • 6–8 years working in data center operations, hardware troubleshooting, and server/network administration.

    • Strong capability to manage end‑to‑end server installation, maintenance, firmware upgrades, and remote configuration tasks.

    • Proven ability to troubleshoot data center hardware and network issues while collaborating effectively with network, systems, and infrastructure teams.

    Pay Details: $47.00 to $49.00 per hour
