Developer-Full Stack Senior

Akkodis is seeking a Developer-Full Stack Senior for a Contract with a client in McLean, VA. The ideal candidate is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade web applications, APIs, and cloud-native solutions while driving high-quality software delivery in an Agile environment.

Rate Range: $85/hour to $90/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer-Full Stack Senior Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications, RESTful APIs, and microservices using Java 17, Spring Boot, Angular, and related technologies.

• Build and support cloud-native solutions using AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, Istio, and Helm while ensuring scalability, security, and performance.

• Develop and maintain database solutions using MongoDB and PostgreSQL, supporting efficient data access and application integration.

• Implement automated testing strategies using JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine, Jest, Cypress, and Playwright to ensure high-quality software delivery.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and developers in an Agile environment to gather requirements and deliver innovative solutions.

• Support CI/CD pipelines, application deployments, troubleshooting, and production support using tools such as Jenkins, Git, Gradle, and the Atlassian tool suite.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

• 8+ years of professional experience in full stack software development, including enterprise application and cloud-native solution development.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Java 17, Spring Boot, Angular, RESTful APIs, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and microservices architecture.

• Proven experience with AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, Istio, Helm, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Jasmine, Jest, Cypress, Playwright), and Agile development practices.

Pay Details: $85.00 to $90.00 per hour
