Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and support real-time data integration pipelines using Apache Kafka and Oracle databases to enable scalable, event-driven data solutions.

Rate Range: $45/Hour to $49/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and support real-time data integration solutions using Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.

• Develop and optimize complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programs to process and manage large-scale datasets.

• Build, maintain, and enhance data pipelines for moving Oracle data to cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data processing issues to ensure system performance, reliability, and data integrity.

• Collaborate with business, analytics, and engineering teams to deliver scalable reporting and data solutions.

• Perform data validation, performance tuning, and process optimization to support high-volume enterprise data environments.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, database development, or enterprise data integration.

• Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, including real-time data streaming and event-driven architectures.

• Advanced expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, with proven experience supporting large-scale databases containing millions to billions of records.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
