    Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in New York, NY. This role oversees the administration and optimization of IBM BAW and Cloud Pak environments while managing middleware components and system performance.

    Rate Range: $37/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

    Developer job responsibilities include:

    • Oversees the setup, configuration, and administration of IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation across on‑prem and cloud environments.

    • Manages middleware components such as WebSphere, Liberty, databases, MQ, FileNet, and LDAP integrations for seamless BAW operations.

    • Performs regular system health checks, capacity planning, monitoring, and performance tuning to maintain platform stability.

    • Executes patches, upgrades, and hotfixes while ensuring minimal downtime across middleware and workflow systems.

    • Automates deployment, scaling, and lifecycle tasks using tools like Ansible and Jenkins to enhance operational efficiency.

    • Collaborates with development, infrastructure, and security teams to troubleshoot issues and support high‑availability and disaster recovery configurations.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

    • 3+ years of hands‑on experience supporting IBM BAW in production environments.

    • Strong knowledge of middleware technologies including WebSphere, Liberty, DB2/Oracle, MQ, FileNet, and LDAP integrations.

    • Experience with IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation on OpenShift/Kubernetes.

    Pay Details: $37.00 to $45.00 per hour
