Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will design and lead cloud-native software solutions by developing microservices, implementing DevOps pipelines, and ensuring secure, scalable application architecture across enterprise platforms.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $64/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design and develop cloud-native applications and microservices using Microsoft technologies and Java Spring Boot across enterprise environments.

• Architect and implement scalable PaaS solutions using PCF, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms.

• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Ansible, and related DevOps tools for automated deployments.

• Integrate APIs and streaming solutions using GraphQL, Apigee, and Apache Kafka for seamless data exchange.

• Monitor application performance and system health using tools like AppDynamics, Splunk, and Dynatrace.

• Lead technical design decisions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure secure, high-performance application delivery.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field required.

• 10+ years of experience in cloud development, software architecture, and enterprise application development.

• Strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, Java Spring Boot, microservices, and cloud platforms (PCF, Kubernetes, Docker).

• Proven experience in DevOps (CI/CD), API integration (GraphQL, Apigee), Kafka, and monitoring tools for performance optimization and system reliability.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $64.00 per hour
