Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Raritan, NJ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Siemens Opcenter (Camstar) MES solutions, including workflows, integrations, and site deployments to support manufacturing operations and business processes.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and implement MES solutions, workflows, and integrations using Siemens Opcenter (Camstar) to support manufacturing operations and business requirements.

• Develop and maintain CIO/MIO maps, workflows, and Camstar Portal customizations while ensuring seamless integration with ERP, LIMS, equipment, and other enterprise systems.

• Lead and support MES implementation, configuration, upgrades, and deployment activities across manufacturing sites.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, support tickets, and system incidents while ensuring application stability and performance.

• Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements, translate manufacturing processes into MES solutions, and drive successful project delivery.

• Support team coordination, documentation, validation activities, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring adherence to quality, compliance, and industry standards.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 6-8 years of experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) development, implementation, and support, with a strong focus on Siemens Opcenter (Camstar).

• Hands-on experience with Siemens Opcenter Core/Camstar Designer, Camstar Portal development, CIO/MIO workflows, MES upgrades, and end-to-end MES implementation projects.

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing system integrations with ERP, LIMS, HMI, and equipment interfaces, along with experience in SQL, manufacturing validations, and regulated industries such as Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $53.00 per hour
