Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in San Jose, CA. Candidate must possess strong expertise in Netskope policy development, a critical qualification required for this role.
Rate Range: $51/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Developer job responsibilities include:
Developing and maintaining Netskope security policies tailored to engineering workflows and development environments.
Translating secure software development requirements into practical policy controls for CI/CD pipelines and coding tools.
Collaborating with development teams to ensure policies align with IDE usage, containerization practices, and workflow needs.
Evaluating open‑source and third‑party dependency requirements to define appropriate governance and security rules.
Implementing policy updates across Netskope and related platforms like Zscaler or Menlo Security when required.
Monitoring policy effectiveness and adjusting configurations to enhance security posture without disrupting developer productivity.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
6–8 years of experience aligned with cybersecurity and policy development roles.
Hands‑on expertise in Netskope policy creation and management, with relevant certifications such as NCCSA.
Deep understanding of engineering workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and secure software development practices to build effective policy controls.

Pay Details: $51.00 to $53.00 per hour
