Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in San Jose, CA. Candidate must possess strong expertise in Netskope policy development, a critical qualification required for this role.

Rate Range: $51/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer job responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining Netskope security policies tailored to engineering workflows and development environments.

• Translating secure software development requirements into practical policy controls for CI/CD pipelines and coding tools.

• Collaborating with development teams to ensure policies align with IDE usage, containerization practices, and workflow needs.

• Evaluating open‑source and third‑party dependency requirements to define appropriate governance and security rules.

• Implementing policy updates across Netskope and related platforms like Zscaler or Menlo Security when required.

• Monitoring policy effectiveness and adjusting configurations to enhance security posture without disrupting developer productivity.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

• 6–8 years of experience aligned with cybersecurity and policy development roles.

• Hands‑on expertise in Netskope policy creation and management, with relevant certifications such as NCCSA.

• Deep understanding of engineering workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and secure software development practices to build effective policy controls.

Pay Details: $51.00 to $53.00 per hour
