Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Southfield, MI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering application support, incident management, and continuous system improvements in MFG/PRO environments.
Rate Range: $53/Hour to $60/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Developer Job Responsibilities include:
Provide functional and technical support for QAD applications across manufacturing, distribution, and finance modules.
Manage incidents and problems end-to-end, including root cause analysis (RCA) and timely resolution.
Perform development activities such as minor enhancements, bug fixes, and testing (unit & integration) in Progress OpenEdge.
Ensure adherence to change management, release processes, and audit/compliance requirements.
Maintain and update knowledge base, known error database, and support documentation regularly.
Collaborate with stakeholders and participate in customer-facing discussions, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
4–6 years of hands-on experience in QAD (MFG/PRO) application support and development.
Strong expertise in QAD modules (Distribution/Finance/Manufacturing) with experience in Progress OpenEdge development, testing, and support.
Proven experience in incident management, RCA, and working in Application Managed Services (AMS) with excellent communication and documentation skills.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $60.00 per hour
