Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Whippany, NJ. The ideal candidate will design reusable UI components and integrates React applications with Java/Spring Boot microservices while ensuring performance, accessibility, and cross‑browser compatibility.
Rate Range: $41/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Developer Job Responsibilities include:
Design and develop responsive, reusable UI components using ReactJS, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
Build and maintain modern, component‑based front‑end applications integrated with Java/Spring Boot microservices via REST APIs.
Translate UX wireframes and business requirements into high‑quality, production‑ready code.
Implement state management solutions and optimize UI performance, accessibility (WCAG/ADA), and cross‑browser compatibility.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and perform code reviews.
Debug and resolve UI issues while supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated front‑end testing.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
6–8 years of professional experience in front end/UI development.
Strong hands-on expertise with ReactJS, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and building enterprise scale, component based UI applications.
Proven experience integrating React front ends with Java/Spring Boot microservices, following accessibility (WCAG/ADA), performance, and secure coding standards.

Pay Details: $41.00 to $56.00 per hour
