DevOps Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Plano, TX(Hybrid). The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Git, Ansible, and Jenkins, and will drive configuration standardization and support CI/CD onboarding.

 

Rate Range: $70/hour to $73/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

DevOps Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Onboarding application teams to DevOps tools and processes

• Managing configuration standardization using templates and setups

• Supporting CI/CD pipeline setup across complex application architectures

• Handling incoming tickets and streamlining automation workflows

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployments

 

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field

• 5–10 years of hands-on DevOps experience

• Proven expertise in Git, Jenkins, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines

• Strong understanding of complex application architectures

• Experience working in Agile environments using JIRA/Kanban

• Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and authentication integration

• Prior experience in financial institutions.

Pay Details: $70.00 to $73.00 per hour
