EHS Technician

Akkodis is seeking an EHS Technician for a Contract with a client in Pomona, CA. The ideal candidate will help create a safer and more compliant workplace by supporting EHS programs, conducting audits, investigations, and employee safety training.

Rate Range: $24/Hour to $25/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

EHS Technician Responsibilities include:

• Assist with accident and incident investigations, identifying root causes and supporting corrective actions.

• Conduct EHS audits, inspections, and facility walkthroughs to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

• Deliver and support employee training programs, including Lockout/Tagout, environmental compliance, and workplace safety initiatives.

• Maintain EHS records, databases, reports, and documentation to support regulatory and internal compliance requirements.

• Support hazardous waste management, recycling initiatives, and environmental permit compliance activities.

• Collaborate with management and supervisors to promote a safe workplace and reduce accidents, injuries, and environmental risks.

 

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in Environmental, Health & Safety is preferred.

• 2-3 years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) or a related field.

• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, MIOSHA, and other applicable environmental and safety regulations.

• Experience conducting EHS audits, safety training, incident investigations, and compliance reporting.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $25.00 per hour
