Electrical Technician

Akkodis is seeking an Electrical Technician for a Contract to Hire with a client in Fairport, NY. The ideal candidate will test and evaluate industrial products by developing and executing test plans, validating product performance, and identifying opportunities for quality improvement.

Rate Range: $22/hour to $27/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Electrical Technician Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and execute formal test plans and procedures to validate product performance and compliance with specifications.

• Conduct product testing using environmental, vibration, and electrical test equipment while collecting and analyzing test data.

• Develop, modify, and maintain test fixtures, tools, and laboratory equipment to support product evaluation activities.

• Collaborate with engineers and developers to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve product issues identified during testing.

• Document test results, maintain issue tracking databases, and provide recommendations for product and process improvements.

• Verify product acceptance criteria, support Agile development teams, and ensure high-quality delivery of customer-facing industrial solutions.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree or Technician Diploma in Mechatronics, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.

• 3+ years of experience in product testing, validation, and laboratory evaluation within an industrial or engineering environment.

• Hands-on experience with environmental, vibration, and functional testing, including the use of oscilloscopes, function generators, temperature, pressure, and flow measurement equipment.

• Proven ability to design and qualify test fixtures, analyze test results, troubleshoot product issues, and collaborate with engineering teams in an Agile development environment.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $27.00 per hour
