Electrical Test Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer for a Contract with a client in Everett, WA. The ideal candidate with experience developing, maintaining, and optimizing manufacturing test systems to improve product quality, reliability, and production performance.

Rate Range: $40/hour to $50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Electrical Test Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Support, maintain, and enhance manufacturing test systems to ensure product quality, reliability, and operational efficiency.

• Troubleshoot electrical hardware, I/O communication boards, and test equipment issues while providing technical support for production environments.

• Analyze test results, investigate failures, and perform root cause analysis to implement corrective actions and improve product yields.

• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to support new product introductions and implement test system modifications based on product requirements.

• Develop, maintain, and debug test software and automation solutions using LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, C#, or other programming tools.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost, productivity, and manufacturing test process optimization.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related engineering discipline from an accredited institution.

• 3–5 years of experience in Electrical Test Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Test Systems Engineering.

• Strong understanding of analog and digital circuitry, schematic interpretation, electrical troubleshooting, and root cause analysis methodologies.

• Hands-on experience with manufacturing test systems and programming tools such as LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, C#, or Java, with the ability to support hardware and software debugging in a production environment.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour
