Electronics Technician

Modis is seeking an Electronics Technician for a Contract with a client in Memphis, TN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic circuit board assemblies to ensure product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

Rate Range: $25/Hour to $27/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Electronics Technician Responsibilities include:

• Performing 5DX verification testing to identify defects and ensure the quality of electronic circuit board assemblies.

• Diagnosing and repairing electronic circuit boards to the component level using electronic test and measurement equipment.

• Analyzing fault data and implementing appropriate rework actions to resolve manufacturing and quality issues.

• Interpreting and utilizing assembly documentation, including BOMs, visual aids, testing tools, and procedures.

• Collaborating with Test Engineering and production teams to improve diagnostic processes and achieve yield targets.

• Following all safety, security, and company procedures while maintaining compliance with operational standards.

 

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma, technical certification, or associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Technology, or a related field.

• 1+ years of experience in electronic circuit board testing, troubleshooting, and component-level repair within a manufacturing environment.

• Proficiency in using electronic test and measurement equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and diagnostic tools.

• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation such as BOMs, schematics, work instructions, and test procedures.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
