Embedded Product Testing

Akkodis is seeking an Embedded Product Testing for a Contract with a client in Melbourne, FL. This role requires solid embedded testing knowledge to create and execute test cases while performing manual/automation and HIL/SIL testing.

Rate Range: $37/hour to $39/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Embedded Product Testing job responsibilities include:

• Develop, create, and execute manual and automated test cases for embedded software systems.

• Perform HIL, SIL, and MIL testing to validate embedded product behavior in simulated and hardware environments.

• Conduct functional, regression, and system-level testing using Python, Linux, and automation tools.

• Analyze defects, document issues, and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

• Ensure adherence to industry best practices in testing while maintaining high standards of quality and traceability.

• Work cross‑functionally to support integration testing, test planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related technical field.

• 4–6 years of hands‑on experience in embedded software testing, including manual and automated test development.

• Strong embedded testing knowledge with proven experience in HIL/MIL/SIL testing environments and Python‑based automation.

• Familiarity with Linux‑based testing, defect analysis, and cross‑functional collaboration, with domain exposure in Automotive, Rail, Medical, or Aerospace considered a plus.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $39.00 per hour
