Engineer - Degreed

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer - Degreed for a Contract with a client in Sylmar, CA (Remote). This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting medical device systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Rate Range: $26/Hour to $28/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer - Degreed Responsibilities include:

• Install, configure, and upgrade medical device systems at customer sites to ensure optimal performance.

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of hardware and software components.

• Maintain accurate service reports, documentation, and records in compliance with quality standards.

• Manage field service schedules, travel arrangements, and customer communications effectively.

• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, company policies, and quality management requirements.

• Collaborate with customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and deliver exceptional service.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in a technical field required; bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering preferred.

• 2+ years of experience in field service, medical devices, biomedical equipment, or a related technical environment.

• Strong troubleshooting, mechanical assembly, and hands-on repair experience with technical equipment.

• Ability to travel up to 80% domestically and lift up to 50 pounds as needed for field service assignments.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour
