Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate will provide 24x7 support for enterprise applications, servers, and workstations while ensuring system stability and operational efficiency.

Rate Range: $37/Hour to $41/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Provide 24x7 support for enterprise applications, Windows servers, Citrix environments, and end-user workstations to ensure business continuity.

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, upgrade, and maintain software applications while managing licensing and system performance.

• Monitor IT services and application health, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime.

• Manage user access, access groups, and security permissions in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.

• Coordinate and escalate technical issues to external vendors, track progress, and ensure timely resolution.

• Maintain accurate documentation, incident records, and operational reports while supporting Azure cloud platform and server infrastructure activities.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 6–8 years of experience in application support, Windows server administration, and IT operations support.

• Strong experience with ServiceNow, Windows Server support, application installation/configuration, troubleshooting, and service monitoring.

• Hands-on experience supporting Azure cloud environments, Citrix platforms, access management, vendor coordination, and enterprise application support.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $41.00 per hour
