Engineering Operations Analyst

Akkodis, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Operations Analyst for a hybrid role with a global industry leader in Grand Rapids, MI.  The role is responsible for building and maintaining project execution rhythm through metrics, tools, resource coordination, and continuous improvement.  Qualifications include 2-3 years within Engineering Operations or working with Engineering tools, advanced Excel skills and experience creating and editing dashboards.

Salary Range:  $50-55 per hour; salary negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors

Engineering Operations Analyst Job Responsibilities Include :

• Gather, analyze, and publish metrics and dashboards on a weekly and monthly basis focused on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the CEO

• Track actions, risks, and dependencies; escalate issues in a timely manner

• Lead or contribute to lean/process improvement initiatives in the application of FLIGHT DECK tools and practices

• Apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of CEO operations

• Serve as point of contact for access to CEO tools (Design Practices, Design Record Book, Design Review, Lessons Learned, etc.)

• Administer and maintain tools, queries, and metrics that help engineers

• Support the development of training in the effective use of CEO tools including user guides, tutorials, and presentations

• Administration of Process Training delivery (GE Learning, other)

• Collect process metrics in support of monthly CEO MORs

• Develop clear and concise technical documentation, including process manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and system guides.

• Ensure all documentation adheres to company standards and is easily accessible to relevant stakeholders.

• Review and edit technical content for accuracy and clarity.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years working with Engineering departments, such as Engineering Operations or Engineering Technology roles

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience

• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Filters, Charts, Tables); strong metrics and query development

• Experience creating and editing dashboards in Spotfire, PowerBI, or Tableau

• Skills in gathering, analyzing, and publishing metrics and dashboards on a weekly and monthly basis focused on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Excellent communication skills to work with stakeholders, management, and executives and provide them with training and support on tools and dashboards

Plusses (not required) would include:

• Experience using AI tools

• General coding knowledge or experience querying databases
