    Akkodis is seeking a Front-end Software Developer for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI (Hybrid). The ideal candidate is dedicated to building intuitive, high‑performance web experiences through modern UI technologies.

    Rate Range: $60/hour to $64/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

    Front-end Software Developer Job Responsibilities include:

    • Engage with customers to understand user needs and translate requirements into intuitive, user‑centric front‑end solutions.

    • Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high‑performance user interfaces using React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

    • Collaborate with product owners, designers, back‑end engineers, and architects to deliver cohesive, scalable applications.

    • Create UI mockups, prototypes, and participate in design reviews and product demonstrations.

    • Implement automated UI and functional testing to ensure quality, accessibility, and cross‑browser compatibility.

    • Continuously optimize application performance, resolve UI defects, and adopt emerging front‑end technologies and best practices.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Web Development, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).

    • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on front‑end development experience.

    • Strong proficiency in React with experience building responsive, customer‑facing web applications using modern UI frameworks and standards.

    • Proven ability to collaborate in Agile environments, work with RESTful APIs, and follow UI/UX best practices, accessibility standards, and CI/CD pipelines.

    Pay Details: $60.00 to $64.00 per hour
