Full-Stack Software Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI (Hybrid). The ideal candidate with experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable cloud-native applications, APIs, and microservices to deliver high-quality business solutions and exceptional user experiences.

Rate Range: $55/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Full-Stack Software Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using J2EE, Angular, GCP Cloud Run, and Microservices architecture to meet business and customer requirements.

• Build and support scalable APIs, backend services, and cloud-native solutions while ensuring performance, security, and reliability.

• Collaborate with product owners, architects, designers, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective software solutions.

• Create and implement software architecture, integration strategies, testing approaches, and deployment processes following Agile and DevOps best practices.

• Develop and optimize data solutions using SQL and BigQuery while ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and operational efficiency.

• Continuously improve application performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and adopt emerging technologies to enhance software quality and development productivity.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 6+ years of IT experience, including 4+ years of hands-on software development experience in full-stack or cloud application development.

• Strong expertise in GCP Cloud Run, J2EE, Angular, Microservices Architecture, SQL, BigQuery, and cloud-native application development.

• Proven experience designing and developing scalable APIs, backend services, and enterprise applications, with strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, software architecture, CI/CD practices, and cross-functional collaboration.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
