Functional Consultant

Akkodis is seeking a Functional Consultant for a Contract with a client in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate with extensive experience designing, implementing, and supporting warehouse management solutions to optimize receiving, shipping, inventory control, and distribution operations.

Rate Range: $56/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Functional Consultant Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead the design, configuration, and support of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions, ensuring efficient receiving, shipping, inventory, and warehouse operations.

• Configure and maintain S/4HANA Decentralized EWM environments, supporting warehouse processes, RF framework functionality, and operational enhancements.

• Develop and support integrations between SAP EWM, SAP ME, SAP TMS, and other enterprise systems to ensure seamless data flow and business process execution.

• Manage and troubleshoot EWM interface technologies, including CIF, DRF, qRFC, PPF, and RF Framework, ensuring system stability and performance.

• Collaborate with business users, warehouse operations teams, and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and implement scalable warehouse management solutions.

• Support testing, issue resolution, system deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, and operational performance.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Information Technology, Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.

• 8-10 years of experience in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), warehouse operations, and supply chain execution solutions.

• Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA EWM (Decentralized EWM), including receiving, shipping, inventory management, warehouse operations, handheld/RF processes, and warehouse execution.

• Strong experience with SAP EWM integrations and interface technologies, including SAP ME to EWM, SAP TMS to EWM, CIF, DRF, qRFC, PPF, and EWM RF Framework.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $60.00 per hour
