Functional Consultant

Akkodis is seeking a Functional Consultant for a Contract with a client in Detroit, MI. The ideal candidate is responsible for designing and delivering ABAP-based RICEFW solutions, integrating FS-CD with external systems, and translating business requirements into technical specifications.

Rate Range: $56/Hour to $71/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Functional Consultant Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and implement SAP FS-CD solutions including ABAP-based RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and domain experts to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.

• Integrate SAP FS-CD with third-party systems (e.g., banks) using OData, Web Services, RFCs, ALE/IDOCs, and APIs.

• Perform enhancements using FQ events, BADIs, User Exits, and the SAP Enhancement Framework while ensuring end-to-end FS-CD process alignment.

• Support testing phases including UAT, troubleshoot issues, and provide production support and release management activities.

• Design and develop advanced solutions using Object-Oriented ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, Gateway services, and Adobe Forms.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 8–10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ECC/S4HANA with a focus on SAP FS-CD implementations.

• Strong expertise in SAP FS-CD techno-functional processes with proven experience in ABAP RICEFW development and system integrations.

• Proficiency in OData services, workflows, enhancements (BADIs/User Exits), and ability to support end-to-end FS-CD lifecycle including UAT and production support.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $71.00 per hour
