GCP Cloud Kubernetes Solutions Architect

Akkodis is seeking a GCP Cloud Kubernetes Solutions Architect for a Contract with a client in San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate will lead the deployment and configuration of Kubernetes platform components, ensuring secure artifact management and reliable cluster operations across disconnected environments.

Rate Range: $53/Hour to $68/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

GCP Cloud Kubernetes Solutions Architect Responsibilities include:

• Design, configure, and support secure Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and private GKE cluster environments.

• Manage and maintain the image transfer pipeline, ensuring secure artifact staging and deployment processes.

• Configure and administer Google Artifact Registry (GAR), including OCI-compliant Helm chart management.

• Implement and maintain Kubernetes RBAC policies to ensure secure access control across environments.

• Troubleshoot infrastructure-level networking, storage, and cluster-related issues in isolated environments.

• Establish and validate GKE cluster prerequisites, ensuring platform readiness and operational stability.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 8-10 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes administration, and platform architecture.

• Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Distributed Cloud, and private GKE cluster deployments.

• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes networking, including CNI configurations and load balancing within isolated environments.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $68.00 per hour
