Helpdesk Support

Akkodis is seeking a Helpdesk Support for a Contract with a client in Memphis, TN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing frontline IT support for logistics operations, ensuring timely resolution of infrastructure, application, and connectivity issues with minimal business disruption.

Rate Range: $30/hour to $37/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Helpdesk Support Job Responsibilities include:

• Provide frontline IT support for logistics operations, including desktops, printers, scanners, network connectivity, and business-critical applications.

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, Office 365, SAP, and infrastructure-related issues to minimize operational downtime.

• Coordinate with IT Help Desk, infrastructure teams, application support teams, and third-party vendors to ensure timely incident resolution.

• Perform problem management activities, including root cause analysis, identifying recurring issues, and implementing preventive measures.

• Support system upgrades, software releases, patch deployments, and new IT service rollouts across global logistics locations.

• Monitor and prioritize support requests, maintain service quality, and collaborate with business stakeholders to improve IT processes and operational efficiency.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 6–8 years of experience in IT Helpdesk, Desktop Support, Infrastructure Support, or Service Desk environments.

• Hands-on experience supporting logistics operations, including PCs, printers, scanners, network connectivity, SAP applications, and Office 365 tools.

• Strong expertise in incident and problem management, stakeholder coordination, troubleshooting complex IT issues, and supporting global business operations in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $37.00 per hour
